FOR SALE: Regal 4460 Commodore – Flagship Luxury, Exceptional Layout, Ultimate Comfort

The Regal 4460 Commodore, flagship of the Regal fleet for years, delivers the perfect blend of luxury, performance, and innovative design. This upscale sport yacht stands out with a beamy deep-V hull and a sleek, aggressive profile highlighted by its gracefully integrated bow pulpit and distinctive fore-and-aft arch.

Step aboard through either of the twin transom gates and you’re greeted by one of the most impressive cockpit layouts in its class. The aft section is compact, maximizing space where it matters most—the elevated bridge deck, just one step up. Here you’ll find an oversized U-shaped lounge and dinette positioned directly across from the double-wide helm seating. It’s a uniquely social design that keeps guests close to the action, unlike conventional express cruisers that push seating to the stern.

Inside, the 4460’s plush two-stateroom layout offers true luxury cruising. Both cabins include solid pocket doors for enhanced privacy and each features its own private head, creating two fully independent suites—rare in this size range. The salon is open, inviting, and beautifully finished, delivering the premium comfort Regal is known for.

Additional highlights include:

  • Wrap-around windshield with power-assist vent
  • 2021 Zara 9’ tender and 2024 Yamaha 15 hp outboard
  • Cockpit wet bar with refrigerator
  • Foredeck sun pad
  • Large transom storage locker
  • Exceptional use of space for entertainment and cruising

The Regal 4460 Commodore remains one of the most stylish and thoughtfully engineered express yachts on the water—perfect for weekend escapes, extended cruising, and entertaining in true comfort.

Owners Comments and Boat History

The owner ordered the vessel new with all available options and took delivery in May 2006 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The boat was subsequently relocated to the Erie Yacht Club and later transported from Newport, Rhode Island, to St. Thomas in November by Seven Seas Yacht Transport.

Born and raised in Sweden near Lake Mälaren, the owner has spent a lifetime power boating and sailing. He immigrated to Western Pennsylvania in 1985 and later purchased a new Sea Ray 280 in 2001, followed by a new Sea Ray 300 in 2003. When Volvo Penta introduced the IPS 500 D6 diesel propulsion system in the fall of 2005, the owner—drawing on his Scandinavian upbringing and prior experience with Volvo Penta AquaMatic stern drives—recognized IPS as the future of power boating. He also values diesel propulsion for its efficiency and inherent safety.

This is a one owner boat, professionally maintained by certified Volvo-Penta technicians this boat has been meticulously cared for since new.
