The Catalina Morgan 440 Deck Salon has been meticulously crafted as an ideal long-distance offshore cruiser, offering both impressive sailing speed and a smooth, predictable motion. Harmony did receive damage while being stored in the boat yard in Virgin Gorda during Hurricane Irma. The current owners have repaired her and are actively sailing her on a regular basis doing day charters (captained by the owner in the USVI).
After delighting in the ownership of "Harmony" for the past few years, the current owners have decided to part ways with her and transition to a smaller vessel. Currently used as a day sailor for charters in St. John, USVI. Harmony has the potential to transform into a capable cruiser with just a minimal amount of attention and effort.
Interior Comfort And Amenities
Forward Cabin:
- Island-style, aft-facing double berth with storage underneath.
- Hanging locker and cabinetry to port.
- En-suite head with electric marine toilet, cabinet-mounted washbasin, and separate shower stall to starboard.
Main Saloon (Amidships):
- C-shaped upholstered settee to starboard with storage under.
- Hi/low pivoting dining table surrounded by settee.
- Two upholstered lounge chairs on the port side.
- Navigation station with outboard-facing chart table.
- U-shaped galley to starboard at the companionway base.
- Second head compartment on port with lavatory, electric flush toilet, and wet-type shower.
- Aft Cabin:Double sleeping cabin on port in stern quarters abaft the companionway.
- Starboard quarter with pass-through access to the lazarette and washer and dryer laundry equipment.

- Fuel: LPG stored in a designated deck locker in the cockpit (properly vented).
- Controls: Manual valves at tank. Electric remote valve from the main DC panel closes fuel supply in the locker.
- Microwave Oven: Small Oster 1100 watt fitted in the galley cabinet.
- Refrigeration: 2 x 12-volt air-cooled condensers through wrap-around evaporator plates in an insulated, top, and front-load cabinet system at the galley.
- Water Heater: 6-gallon electric and waste heat from the engine.
- Miscellaneous: Typical small appliances and galley equipment for live-aboard cruiser.

Bow Thruster:

- The vessel is fitted with a ("Maxwell Nillson" Model 1200) vertical electric anchor windlass showing capstan and gypsy mounted abaft the chain locker.
- Deck-mounted control switches show on the foredeck with remote switching from the cockpit.
Steering:
- Steering is wheel-controlled from the cockpit through an (Edson) cable over stainless-steel post supported in a gusseted, composite rudder tower terminating above the waterline.
- The steering system additionally shows a linear electromechanical "Ray Marine" drive ram controlled through the auto-pilot.

- Fuel: Diesel oil, Capacity: 100 US Gallons, Single Welded alloy plate tank located under the saloon sole favoring port.

Water Maker:
- "Sea Recovery" Potable water system is enhanced by a reverse osmosis water maker installed in a utility locker to port upon entering the forward cabin.
Domestic Hot Water:
- Capacity: 6 US Gallons, (1) single heater showing electric and waste heat capability.
Black Waste Water:
- (2) "Raritan" electric toilets pump directly into a holding tank. The toilet pumps are macerator type.
De-watering:
