Beyla is a well-equipped 1989 Island Packet 35 set up for comfortable, self-sufficient cruising. Highlights include a 400Ah LiFePO4 house bank, 400 watts of solar, watermaker, air conditioning, Garmin chartplotter, AIS and Monitor windvane self-steering. Her sail inventory includes a 2021 Rolly Tasker mainsail, roller furling jib and trysail. Chainplates have been replaced and externally mounted for easy inspection. Ground tackle includes a 25kg Rocna Vulcan with 275 feet of G8 chain. Beyla offers the solid construction and proven cruising design Island Packet is known for.

The Island Packet 35 offers a comfortable 2-cabin cruising layout with a private forward cabin and aft quarter cabin, providing additional sleeping space for family or guests. The spacious main saloon features generous seating, complemented by a well-equipped galley, enclosed head with shower, navigation station and excellent storage throughout.

Many lovely years were spent on board. Beautiful sailing and a comfortable boat.
From the moment we put Beyla into the water, we were cruising. We comfortably lived for three years in the Caribbean on her.
Beyla offered plenty of room for two people and a cat. However, on many occasions, we housed up to five.
We opted to do about $50,000 worth of upgrades. We found a composting toilet to be much more convenient than having a holding tank considering regulations around dumping and the water maker was a lifesaver.
Many people say the island packet does not sail fast, but she sales steady. There were many storms and many times we counted our blessings for having such a great boat! T
