S/V Luffin Life is a 2008 Gemini 105MC catamaran located in Luperon, Dominican Republic, and offered for $87,000 USD. US flagged and owned by her third owner, she is a proven, cruise-ready platform that has recently completed a family voyage from Florida to the Caribbean. Well equipped for comfortable liveaboard and island hopping, she features 940W of solar, 400Ah of lithium batteries, a 2000W inverter, Starlink connectivity, and a Seawater Pro 40 GPH watermaker. The 27hp Westerbeke diesel with Sillette outdrive runs strong, and her shallow draft, centerboards, and kick-up rudders allow access to anchorages most boats can’t reach.
Below and on deck, Luffin Life is set up for practical cruising with a custom fridge and freezer, microwave, 12k BTU MarineAir AC, full enclosure, hatch screens and covers, and a comfortable cockpit with factory hammock seating. She comes with a well-rounded inventory including a main and screecher in great condition, dinghy with a new Yamaha 15hp outboard, reinforced davits, upgraded ground tackle with a 20kg Rocna anchor, and additional spares and cruising gear. A recent bottom job with primer and antifouling, along with structural reinforcement aft, adds further peace of mind.
This is an ideal entry-level cruising catamaran that has already proven herself as a capable and enjoyable family boat. While not without cosmetic and maintenance items, she is ready to sail today with minimal work required. Located in the welcoming cruiser hub of Luperon, she offers the perfect starting point for Caribbean adventures, with the option for delivery assistance or onboard orientation for new owners.

Owners Comments and Boat History
S/V Luffin Life is a US-flagged, Luperon-based 2008 Gemini 105MC catamaran offered by her third owner.
She is fully equipped for cruising, having recently completed a family voyage from Florida to the Dominican Republic. The current owners have lived aboard and accumulated extensive knowledge, spare parts, and cruising gear, all of which will transfer to the next owner.
While she has a few cosmetic and minor maintenance items including gelcoat crazing, a hatch that leaks in heavy rain, and a chafed screecher line, she remains a highly capable and practical cruising platform ready to sail immediately.
Her shallow draft allows access to protected anchorages that deeper vessels cannot reach, a major advantage in crowded or weather-sensitive areas. The moderate beam allows for easy haul-outs and compatibility with standard marina slips. The onboard watermaker supports comfortable long-term cruising without reliance on shore-side water.
This vessel has proven to be an ideal entry-level cruising catamaran, and the owners are now upgrading after discovering their enjoyment of the lifestyle. Gemini catamarans are well regarded and widely appreciated, offering excellent versatility with centerboards and kick-up rudders allowing operation in less than 2 feet of water.
The integrated rudder steering system provides responsive handling and maneuverability. A recent survey is available, and additional information and photos can be shared with serious buyers.
