First 31.7 was built in 2005 by Beneteau, an emblematic racing-cruising sailboat, produced between 1998 and 2010.
Designed by the naval architecture firm Groupe Finot, it is based on the hull of the Figaro Beneteau, offering an excellent compromise between regatta performance and cruising comfort
