Descripción Principal

Neon Moon showcases why the Lagoon 450 F remains such a popular choice for both private cruising and charter use. Her 4-cabin / 4-head layout with flybridge helm offers excellent space, privacy, and guest flow, with the added flexibility of converting the forward cabins into forepeaks for crew or additional storage. She is currently operating in a luxury charter program and continues to be actively booked, reflecting the comfort, layout, and practicality that owners and guests consistently appreciate.

The current owners have completed several thoughtful cosmetic upgrades to keep her feeling fresh and inviting. In 2025, the saloon cabin sole was replaced with modern laminate flooring, brightening the interior and giving the space a clean, contemporary finish. Exterior cushions were recovered in heavy-duty grey leatherette, complemented by an oversized custom hardtop Bimini for improved shade and guest comfort. Synthetic teak decking on the aft steps and high-traffic areas enhances both safety underfoot and the overall look.

Originally dismasted during Hurricane Irma in 2017, she was professionally rebuilt with a spliced replacement mast and renewed standing rigging (2018). Fiberglass repairs were completed to a professional standard under the oversight of Hirst Marine Surveyors, confirming structural integrity, and she also benefits from reinforced Lagoon bulkheads.

She is equipped with the comforts most buyers expect for extended cruising or charter use, including a generator, watermaker, and full air conditioning throughout.

The mainsail and genoa are approaching the end of their service life and should be budgeted for replacement, with estimated costs of approximately $8,000–$10,000 for both.

Whether continuing in charter or transitioning to private ownership, Neon Moon presents a comfortable, well-maintained platform ready for her next chapter.

Owners Comments and Boat History

We purchased Neon Moon after Hurricane Irma with the intention of rebuilding her properly and creating a comfortable, reliable Lagoon 450 F for both family use and charter. The rig was professionally re-established, fiberglass repairs were completed under surveyor oversight, and over time we’ve continued to improve and refresh her.

Recent upgrades like the new saloon flooring, exterior cushions, hardtop Bimini, and synthetic teak steps were all done to make the boat feel brighter, safer, and more enjoyable to live aboard. She has proven to be spacious, comfortable, and easy to handle, whether sailing with family or hosting guests.

With the project complete and the boat now in great shape, we’re excited to pass her on and move forward with our next adventure.

Neon Moon was originally part of the Conch Charters fleet here in the BVI before being purchased by her current owners following Hurricane Irma. At that time, the rig was professionally re-established with a replacement mast and renewed standing rigging, and all necessary fiberglass repairs were completed under surveyor oversight to ensure structural integrity.

Since acquisition, she has been a hands-on family project, with steady improvements and thoughtful upgrades made along the way. With the refit work complete and the boat now in great shape, the owners are ready to move on to their next project, creating an excellent opportunity for her next custodian.
