Garuda is a thoughtfully upgraded cruising sailboat designed for safe, comfortable, and truly independent offshore and liveaboard sailing. Her standout feature is a powerful off-grid electrical system built around 400Ah of Battle Born lithium batteries, 780W of solar, Victron power management, and high-output charging, allowing extended cruising without reliance on shore power or frequent generator use.
Security and peace of mind are enhanced by a BRNKL remote monitoring system providing real-time data on battery voltages, bilge activity, temperature, humidity, impact detection, geofencing, and onboard camera access, all viewable via smartphone app with instant alerts.
Her modern navigation suite includes a Raymarine Axiom 9 chartplotter, radar, wireless wind instruments, autopilot, AIS, dual VHF radios, and external Garmin GPS, delivering excellent situational awareness for offshore and coastal cruising.
Garuda carries a full and versatile sail inventory, including mainsail and mizzen with custom stack packs, a 140% genoa, spinnaker, and a brand-new 110% genoa by Precision Sails. Ground tackle is equally robust with a Rocna 20 primary anchor, secondary plow anchor, Fortress storm anchor, and Maxwell electric windlass.
Repowered with a Beta-Marine 38hp diesel, upgraded charging systems, and well-maintained running gear, Garuda is a capable, comfortable, and well-equipped cruiser, ready for extended adventures and off-grid living.

Owners Comments and Boat History
Known for its solid fiberglass construction, roomy layout, and offshore capability, the Pearson 365 is a favorite among liveaboards and long-distance sailors. Designed by Bill Shaw, the 365 Ketch is a proven bluewater and coastal cruiser with timeless lines and a comfortable, spacious interior.
Garuda is a 36-footer with a shoal-draft keel (4.50 ft / 1.37 m), ideal for accessing Caribbean anchorages that other boats of its size struggle with. A masthead rig with 45.67 ft / 14.22m of air draft makes her just as capable in the Intercoastal. 7,300.00 lb / 3,311 kg of lead ballast adds to her stability, while a skeg-hung rudder and rugged hand-laid-up fiberglass hull make her very forgiving for the captain and crew.
Garuda was purchased by the current owner in 2020 and was significantly upgraded into a fully functional bluewater cruiser. It was last surveyed in October of 2022, is fully insured, and has been cruising Florida, the Bahamas, the Turks & Caicos, and the Dominican Republic.
